Happy 4th of July.

Well it is officially July (has been for a whole day now), and man does it feel like it out side.  IT IS HOT!  So we have been enjoying the indoors and the Big Ten Network, its all about Nebraska this weekend.  And that is one thing we can both agree on watching.
We got our wedding pictures in the mail the other day, and our photographers (Nate and Kim Wagner) did such a good job.  Oh...and my thank you notes never seems to come to an end.  I keep thinking "I am almost done" then I turn the page and it is fooorrrrevvverrr long still.  Hopefully I can finish them this weekend, and meet the "deadline" I set for myself, which was one month after we got married.  CrAzY to think that on the 4th of July we will have been married for one month already.  Time flies when you are with the ones you love.
Here is my favorite picture from the wedding:
Oh How I miss my dress.  And the excitement of the whole wedding.
I have been reading a book given to me  called Great Expectations by a couple named Toben and Joanne Heim.  The section I read about last night talked about having Happy 'I Love You' Days.  They are to be unexpected by the other person, and you are to just shower the other person with love.  They suggested funny cards, serious notes, a small gift (or a big one), surprising them at work with their favorite sandwich (or whatever).  These are supposed to be small things just to show your love, and make sure to tell them "Happy 'I love you' Day".  Spoil each other in everyway possible (just sharing what I have learned, I am not a professional).

Things I have learned:
Zach takes naps every once in awhile between working with clients...and I have learned not to wake him up.
No matter how many dishes there are on the counter, they will not do themselves.
Spoil each other, and shower each other with love!

  1. I love your dress! I also love reading your blog- especially the "what I've learned" section. Super cute and amusing. I really like the idea about the surprise "I love you" day gifts. Looking forward to reading more =)
